Nick Borges } Trumpet/Trombone

Nick "Gorgeous" Borges, or Nick "The Yellow Dart" Borges, or Nick "turning lesbians strait" Borges. What ever you want to call him, he's the newest member of the band and he immediately became an MVP. Not that his trumpet playing or singing is any good, but he brings a GPS on the road with us, which is helpfull.

He started on trumpet and trombone through westfield public schools band programs and made Massachusetts district jazz band 6 years in a row on trumpet. Nick then went on to study music at Holyoke Community College under Bob Ferrier and Dave Shapiro. He's currently a 'Jazz & African American Studies in Music' major at UMASS studying trumpet & voice and has taken private trumpet lessons from Eric Berlin and Steve Sonntag.
